Throughout the book of Ruth, we see God moving and working in and through the lives of Ruth, Naomi, and Boaz. In sharp contrast to the time of the Judges, in which this story takes place, we see the great faith of these 3 main characters, and God’s great faithfulness to and through them.
The short story of Ruth is a beautiful story of how God can and does move and work in and through our lives when we fully commit to Him and faithfully pursue Him as Ruth did.
Servanthood played a powerful role in how Jesus developed disciples. He served His followers and called them to likewise go and serve as He has served them. The same applies to us today. We grow as we serve.
